Meet The Owner
I’m McKenna, the founder of Guardian Pet Travel. Born in Hawaii and now based in Utah, I’ve spent much of my life moving between places—across the U.S. and internationally—shaped by a love of travel and a belief that how you move through the world matters. Those experiences influence everything I bring to this work: intention, care, and respect for the journey itself.
I’ve cared for animals my entire life and have experience working with a wide range of pets, each with their own needs, personalities, and rhythms. Combined with years of long-distance, all-weather driving and professional experience in airline logistics, I’m comfortable managing the many moving parts of pet travel—from planning and routing to timing and adaptability along the way.
Guardian Pet Travel grew from the natural overlap of these experiences. I approach every journey with attentiveness, flexibility, and genuine care for the animals entrusted to me, with the goal of providing not only safe and comfortable travel, but true peace of mind for the people who love them.
